The Ren'Py Utility Bundle Free Edition contains a variety of small but useful Ren'Py components that I've developed over the years that I've spent making visual novels. It also contains complete instructional guides on how to use each component, and deep dives into some of Ren'Py's more advanced and unfamiliar features.

This is the Premium Edition, which contains unique and complex utility effects you won't find anywhere else.

* The complete contents of the Free Edition

* Depth-mapped simulated parallax and depth-of-field effects:  

turn any background image into a scene with realistic depth and movement via depth-mapping. Add haze, bokeh, soft blur, and mouse-based parallax movement. Zero image cutting required!

* Lip flap system: keep your characters' mouth movements in sync with either their voice or their slow-mode text scrolling. Works great with layered images!

Future additions

This bundle will be periodically updated with new packages and features. All bundle owners will get access to any new packages for free. Upcoming inclusions for version 1.2.0:

* Linearized audio primitives: create composite sound effects that include changes in volume, panning, and filters baked in. Never worry about resetting your channel pan back to centre!

* Tear-stained vision: don't just tell your audience that a character is crying, sell the effect with this blurry, distorted shader.
