But science! D':
I really enjoyed this game, first-day job simulator were really accurate. The story escalates and the atmosphere was very well crafted, while being painfully relatable the entire time. Great job!
Thank you!!
Yo, Endi, I played through the game. I liked it, I thought the attention to detail on the characters' deteriorating mental state as things went on was well written.
Thank you!
Very 2001: A Space Odyssey vibes. Really nice short read which feels especially relevant given what's going on in the world re: AI now...
Actually, that made it a little more depressing to experience haha, but obviously it's not supposed to be a cheery story...
Though it was a short experience, the characters are all well-rounded and likeable (yes, even Parvati haha). They're all complex, with their own strengths and weaknesses, and they're pretty expressive. For a free VN, the cast have a lot of poses which really adds to how dynamic this whole experience is!
Ah, I really like the UI in this VN too. The general layout is just chef's kiss: it really adds to the dystopian future tech vibe (um... even though the story takes place in 2017 lol, oh no, the dystopia is here already..........) The use of SFX in the UI is nice too, and the music is very moody! Every single aspect of this is very cohesive!!! I love how the clock in the upper right updates with in-game time too; it's a really nice feature.
Oh, and I really liked the one CG of Fang lying in bed with the light playing on her face: it's a really pretty CG which really pops.
There really is a lot of attention to detail in the look and sound of this VN; I can tell a lot of thought went into it!
If I had to criticise anything, I'd say maybe the endings feel a bit short and perfunctory... Buuuuut this is a free VN, and it's already plenty polished, so it's not a downside at all.
This is a really nice little VN; you did a great job! Thank you for sharing it! <3
Thank you so much for your kind review ebi! <3
3 different, well written endings! Sure, you only have one choice and it's like in the end, but still. It was actually kind of realistic so a bonus point for that, because corporate really screws you up (not in the way Lamprey did but still).
Spoilers:
Min's death is absolutely devastating goshdangit, I'd have avoided her death if I ever got to.
Thank you for the kind comment! <3
Hey Allouin, what OS and antivirus program are you using? I'm sorry to hear you're having this issue. I'll look into it and see if I can help find a solution.
I looked into this, but all I can really suggest is to try whitelisting the Lamprey executable with Windows Defender.
nice novel
I love everything about this game! It's so so good, the music blend really well with the aesthetic!
Thank you for your kind words!!
